QWOCMAP is proud to announce our first-ever QWOCMAP Filmmaker Grant recipients! A total of $10,000 was awarded to 8 LBTQ+ filmmakers of color creating films in San Francisco.

We are thrilled to support these LBTQ+ filmmakers of color and their film projects. Their films reflect a diverse range: shorts and feature length; narrative, documentary, and experimental; research & development phase through post-production.

QWOCMAP created the Filmmaker Grant to sustain LBTQ+ filmmakers of color and nurture films that accurately reflect the lived experience of our communities. This round of grants was funded by San Francisco Grants for the Arts.
