About Filmmaker(s)
"Baluarte Producciones is made up of members of Caribeñxs, a feminist organization of lesbian and bisexual women from the city of Montería, which since 2018 has been working to defend the rights of women and populations with diverse sexual orientation and gender identity through different initiatives. The Baluarte Producciones team was born in 2022 as a result of the process in conjunction with the HEK audiovisual training laboratory. For them, making films represents an opportunity to recognize life stories and to account for the dynamics of historically oppressed sectors of society, such as the LGBTI, whose experiences have been made invisible and dismissed due to a systematic denial of diverse existence."
