The panel “Both…And: Thinking Outside the ‘Category” explored the ways that festival programming can underscore or reveal discrepancies between film festivals’ processes and their stated missions to support LGBTQ and BIPOC communities. Other panelists included: Kristal Sotomayor of Philidelphia Latino Film Festival, and Bears Rebecca Fonte of AGLIFF.
