Parking & Driving

Free after 6pm

There is ample parking in the Presidio near the theatre. There is a curb cut in front of the venue where passengers can be dropped off. There are 2 disabled parking spaces that require placards next to the venue on Montgomery. The Main Parade Ground, Officer's Club, and Golden Gate Club have plenty of parking nearby. Depending on where you park, you may need to walk or roll a short distance to reach the venue.

Parking Rates
  • Up to $3/hour during the day
  • $15 maximum for all-day parking
  • Free after 6pm

Rideshares & Taxis (WAV)

If you’re taking a taxi, Uber, Lyft, or other rideshare, have your driver drop you off at the loading zone & curb cut directly in front of the theatre. Drivers cannot park in the loading zone.

For the return trip, cell service in the Presidio can be spotty, especially inside the building. Order your ride before leaving the theatre lobby, or arrange your pickup in advance.

Wheelchair Accessible Vehicles (WAV)

San Francisco offers WAV (wheelchair accessible vehicle) services through Green Cab, Lyft WAV, and Uber WAV.

Green Cab WAV

typical wait 35–45 minutes

Lyft WAV

request via the Lyft app in San Francisco

Uber WAV

request via the Uber app

Geographic limitation

WAV vehicles do not run from the East Bay (Oakland) on weekends. You can take them from San Francisco. If you’re coming from the East Bay and need WAV, plan to take BART then book WAV or take the Presidio Go shuttle. The QWOCFF East Bay Shuttle on Friday & Sunday is also wheelchair accessible.

If You Need to Call for Help

Cell calls to 911 from the Presidio can ping a tower far north of the venue, which delays response. The fastest way to reach fire and paramedics is through the Front Desk or any Safety & Care crew member, who will use the venue landline.

Community Care

We Walk Together

The Presidio is dark at night. Our Safety & Care team (red badges) will walk you to your car, bus stop, or shuttle pickup. Find them near the exits after each screening, or ask any volunteer.

Don’t hesitate to ask! Look for team members in red badges near the exits or ask any volunteer for assistance.
